Oxford & Cambridge Club: A Case Study
Nicky met the Assistant Secretary of the Club and Head Chef Stuart in July 2011. Stuart was at first quite sceptical about The Full Range but it was agreed that a full benchmarking exercise of the supply base would be completed. This highlighted an opportunity to consolidate supply and identified potential savings in some areas of 20%+ in switching to Full Range suppliers.

This process began with the dry and frozen category and continued with the rollout of Full Range suppliers for fruit & veg, meat and cheese, all of which are still being used today. Significant savings have been achieved and, latterly, The Full Range has also supported the Club in the implementation of their E Procurement platform which has further helped in the monitoring and reduction of food costs.
