The Full Range was established in 2008 by George McIvor Chairman of the Master Chefs of Great Britain. The Full Range is a unique culinary and purchasing specialist providing a range of services to small and medium sized foodservice operators, throughout the UK and beyond. Unique, because we believe our experience is unrivalled and because we take personal approach to business.

We provide culinary support and professional advice that helps our clients achieve a better level of service and more enjoyable experience for their customers. We offer ideas and solutions which help our clients achieve greater purchasing efficiency and, ultimately, a better GP.

George McIvor

‘The Chef’

With over 40 years experience in the UK and international foodservice and hospitality industries George has a passion for food excellence which he imparts to all that he does in his role as Director of The Full Range. A great motivator, he is never happier than when encouraging youngsters to get involved in the industry and passes on his knowledge of food, health and nutrition with great enthusiasm.

After a lifetime behind ‘the hot plate’ George now allows himself an odd day off to work on his golf handicap!


Barry Knight

‘The Ideas Man’ 

It all started 10 years ago with a great idea and Barry continues to come up with innovative concepts to keep The Full Range moving forward. His talent for price negotiation is second to none, a testament to our success as a company and that of our valued clients.

When not beetling about the country attending meetings, Barry enjoys a workout at the gym and is known as a bit of bandit on the golf course!


Nicky Prentice

‘The Sales Guru’ 

Nicky has over 25 years experience in the foodservice industry, working in sales and marketing for a diverse range of companies including United Biscuits, Reed Exhibitions and Baxters Foodservice. She also spent 6 years in Purchasing and Supply Chain at Compass Group where she was focussed on achieving greater alignment between purchasing and operations.

Nicky thrives on the cut and thrust of new business, very much a people person, she is passionate about her customers and helping them to succeed and grow. Her attention to detail and customer management skills are evidenced in the number of long term clients in her ever expanding portfolio.

When not out and about looking after her customers you will find Nicky in the great outdoors – she is a keen walker and triathlete.


Evelyn McIvor

‘The Administrator’

With a penchant for spreadsheets and number crunching, Evie has a talent for office management and a love for things that are neat and orderly.  With a firm understanding of finance she keeps The Full Range running efficiently.

When not at her desk you can be sure she is out bagging a few Munros in her beloved Scottish Highlands.


Jim Bruce

Jim has over 30 years experience in the Hospitality Industry.

Previous Owner / Chef within two busy restaurants in Forfar and Inverness as well as holding Manager / Chef roles  at the Victoria Hotel in Elie and Charleton Estate in Fife.

Latterly Jim spent 4 years as Area Sales Manager for M&J Seafood managing customers from all sectors within the foodservice industry throughout Scotland.

Jim’s combined experience and acquired knowledge from both sides of the hot plate allow him to offer positive solutions to The Full Range clients in his role as Business Development Manager.


Lorna Platt

Lorna is dedicated to providing first class client care and service to our customers.

With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, she prides herself in resolving issues that (may) arise as quickly as possible.

Passionate about farm to fork and British farming, Lorna is classically Cordon Bleu trained and has spent many years working with Scotland’s finest produce.


Murray Knight

Murray’s considerable sales experience has been gained within organisations such as Klix (Drinks Division of the Mars Group) as Sales Manager for Scotland and Tasties of Chester (a division of the Pasta King Group) .

Murray joined The Full Range in June 2013, covering the North West of England.  Since then, he has successfully applied his business experience to establish a significant client base across a range of various market sectors.


Stuart Minton

Stuart has over 10 years’ experience in sales to the hospitality sector. He spent 6 years at Bunzl Catering Supplies progressing from telesales to Area Sales Manager, responsible for managing and developing a broad portfolio of foodservice customers throughout the south of England.

He joined The Full Range as Key Account Manager for the South East in August 2013 and is now Regional Sales Manager, playing a key role in the roll out of our online e-procurement system.


Craig Lyall

Craig has over 13 years’ experience in sales to the hospitality sector.

Starting at Lockhart Catering Equipment before moving to Bunzl Catering Supplies, Craig started as an Area Sales Manager and was latterly Key Account Manager for Scotland.

Craig has a vast knowledge of the non-food sector where he managed a variety of customers (around) across the UK.  His familiarity with the industry and sales knowledge allows him to cater to the needs of The Full Range clients in his role as Regional Sales Manager.
